Site Operations Manager

About the Company

Bedrock is moving AI out of the lab and into the real world by deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction machinery. Backed by $350M in funding, the team is working to accelerate infrastructure projects and address labor shortages in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and operation of autonomous construction technology on partner sites
• Define work plans, scope, and operational requirements for site launches
• Coordinate onsite launch readiness across engineering, fleet, and site teams
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe, reliable performance and workflow validation
• Manage the customer lifecycle, including hands-on training and support for partner operators
• Translate complex robotic systems into practical operating instructions
• Capture field insights to inform product and engineering improvements
• Build trust-based relationships with partner teams to drive long-term adoption

Requirements

• Experience managing operations in construction or industrial environments
• Experience directing heavy equipment operators and field crews
• Ability to interpret site construction drawings, maps, survey data, and grading plans
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with engineering and field teams
• Experience training customers and providing operational support
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and work from customer sites
• Located in the surrounding Austin area

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in autonomy, robotics, or advanced construction technology
• Familiarity with construction tool Propeller Aero
• Experience launching new operational programs or deployments
• Experience building training programs, manuals, or playbooks
