Site Operational Excellence Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the site Operational Excellence (OEX) deployment plan and execute against defined savings and performance targets.
• Conduct production floor analysis to identify throughput constraints, process waste, and capacity recovery opportunities.
• Build and sustain daily management systems, including visual controls, leader standard work, and escalation routines.
• Lead structured problem solving on chronic quality and delivery issues using data from SAP and production logs.
• Work within quality and regulatory frameworks to improve process flow without compromising compliance.
• Coach supervisors and operators on floor-level problem identification and countermeasure development.
• Deliver training and develop local OEX talent by leveraging global curricula and tools.
• Coordinate with Regional OEX leads to align site initiatives with the global portfolio.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in science, engineering, or business.
• 4+ years of experience leading operational improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Lean practitioner experience with hands-on deployment of standard work and value stream analysis.
• Proven experience with daily management systems and material/information flow design.
• Ability to interpret production data such as cycle time, throughput, yield, and labor utilization.
• Experience working in regulated environments where quality and regulatory constraints impact process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a formalized production system (e.g., Danaher Business System, Toyota Production System, or Honeywell Operating System).
• Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or highly regulated production sectors.
