Site Manufacturing Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site management team, overseeing production, quality, engineering, and financial functions.
• Define and execute the site production strategy to optimize manufacturing processes and footprint.
• Manage the site's operational budget, including annual expense and capital investment (CAPEX) planning.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, waste elimination, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with ISO and IATF16949 standards to maintain required certifications.
• Oversee talent management, employee development, and HR KPI execution within the site.
• Coordinate production structures, new capacity investments, and product development projects.
• Maintain and enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Plant Director within the automotive industry.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a broad manufacturing environment.
• Engineering degree or a related technical field.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP and MRP systems.
• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949 standards.
• Conversational English skills.
• Proven ability to lead large workforces and manage relationships with major automotive clients (e.g., Ford, GM, VW, Tesla).
