Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activity and supervise operatives and sub-contractors
• Maintain highest standards of Health and Safety on site
• Conduct employee and sub-contractor inductions and toolbox talks
• Ensure project filing and administration comply with IMS and Project Filing Guides
• Monitor project quality and programme standards to avoid defects
• Coordinate contract drawings, specifications, and site resources
• Maintain rigorous records for RFIs, verbal instructions, and delays
• Requisition site equipment, plant, and materials
• Produce short-term programmes for all trades
• Supervise implementation of work safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with commercial teams regarding contract financial positions and sub-contract scopes

Requirements

• Appropriate CSCS card
• Valid driving license
• SMSTS certificate
• Temporary works supervisor training
• Scaffold inspection certificate (layer or Cisrs)
• Asbestos awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• First Aid at Work certificate
• Fire Marshall certificate
