About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, coordinating with various teams and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Manage and optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and safety records
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and control project costs and implement cost-saving measures
- Mentor and develop junior staff
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction site management, specifically water-related projects
- NRSWA (Supervisors) certification
- IOSH or SMSTS certification
- Water safety passports
- Supervisory Management training
- Valid UK driving license
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
