Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations including passenger, baggage, cargo screening, access control, and perimeter security
• Ensure full compliance with national aviation security regulations and airport operating procedures
• Supervise, direct, mentor, and schedule security staff while managing performance
• Respond to and investigate security breaches, emergencies, and incidents
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, law enforcement, and stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify vulnerabilities
• Ensure security equipment and uniforms meet company policies and client SLAs

Requirements

• 2–5 years of physical guarding security management experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience at an NKP site
• PSIRA Grade A certification
• Minimum NQF level 4 or SAQA equivalent
• Valid firearm competency certificate
• Valid AVSEC level 3 certificate
• Valid Part 92 (dangerous goods) aviation certificate
• Valid Part 109 and Part 110 civil aviation certificates
• Valid NKP training certificate
• Valid AVSEC level 2 certificate
• Valid NKP regulation 16 certificate training certificate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks for airport security clearance
• No criminal record

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
