Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate training and safety objectives
• Establish and meet production and financial goals
• Schedule plant personnel
• Maintain clear dialogue with customers to determine needs and services
• Develop financial plans and capital budgets to achieve plant goals
• Administer discipline regarding company rules and regulations
• Oversee plant purchasing, maintenance, repairs, and parts
• Direct all workforce personnel and oversee daily plant operations

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in manufacturing (materials management, production, or engineering)
• Experience in purchasing, production, inventory control, and engineering
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehousing
• 3 to 5 years of staff management experience
• Previous experience with Profit and Loss responsibility
• Working knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
• Experience in manufacturing or the steel industry
• Proven track record of improving safety performance and goals
• Strong communication and leadership skills
