About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Lake Charles research site
  • Directly manage and develop Clinical Research Coordinators, Phlebotomists, and Lab Technicians
  • Oversee protocol implementation, enrollment progress, and data timeliness for complex studies
  • Ensure strict adherence to FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and company SOPs
  • Maintain high standards for source documentation, data integrity, and inspection readiness
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for sponsors and CROs
  • Perform hands-on clinical tasks including phlebotomy, ECGs, and vital signs as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of clinical research experience, including experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
  • Proven direct people management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH-GCP
  • Recent phlebotomy experience is required
  • Proficiency with EDC systems and clinical trial databases
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex or high-volume clinical studies
