Responsibilities
- Set performance goals and deadlines in compliance with company vision
- Organize workflow and delegate tasks to employees
- Monitor productivity and provide coaching and feedback
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
- Facilitate communication between upper management and employees
- Prepare and submit performance reports
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies
- Manage disciplinary actions as required
- Lead operations as a hands-on manager
Requirements
- Previous experience as a supervisor or site manager
- Experience in the metal scrap industry is an asset
- Knowledge of commercial trucks and forklifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
