About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation of quality, process change, and Lean initiatives to meet and exceed business plans.
  • Oversee overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for Inbound or Outbound operations.
  • Set requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measuring performance and holding teams accountable.
  • Nurture ideas from managers to create functional area improvement plans.
  • Ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the wider network.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure resources for site projects and initiatives.
  • Manage budgetary, people development, and operational objectives for the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean techniques.
  • Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, and terminations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in manufacturing, production, or distribution.
  • Experience working with changing priorities and schedules.
  • Experience leading large contingent workforce programs.
  • Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple Fulfillment Centers.
