About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive a zero-defect culture on the shop floor with a focus on special processes
  • Manage site industrial quality activities, including budget, people, and process digitalization
  • Lead APSYS improvement plans for the Industrial Quality function
  • Implement and ensure quality control systems through regular Process FMEA, Control Plan, and Quality Control Plan reviews
  • Perform analysis to improve industrial quality performance at the site level
  • Escalate and ensure effective treatment of anomalies detected on production lines
  • Support decision-making for Hand Overs (GO/NO GO) and exercise veto rights when necessary
  • Manage and develop the industrial quality team through training and qualification plans
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, or a related field
  • 17 to 22 years of experience in a quality function within railway or heavy manufacturing industries
  • Proven experience managing a team of at least 25 members
  • Proficiency in PST, 8D, and QRQC quality tools
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, IRIS, and CMMI standards
  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and maintain resilience under pressure

  • Technical mastery of railway products
