Site HR Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and administration of human resources for a high-volume logistics operation
• Act as an advisor to station leadership on all human resources functions
• Direct recruiting and employment activities to ensure timely placement of qualified employees
• Build effective partnerships with operations leaders and manage investigations and complaints
• Facilitate collaborative problem-solving strategies to resolve employee relations issues
• Provide coaching and counseling regarding performance improvement, harassment, and legal/employment issues
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Monitor salary administration and ensure wage and hour compliance
• Organize and plan employee engagement and company activities

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
• 5-6+ years of experience in employee relations
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to build constructive relationships across the organization and navigate ambiguity
• Knowledge of HR disciplines and employment law

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UKG or other HRIS systems
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
• HRCI or SHRM certification
