Site Environmental Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Environmental and HSE Management Systems at the project and site level in accordance with ISO 14001 standards and local legislation.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans, focusing on waste, water, chemicals, emissions, and spill prevention.
• Manage environmental permitting activities and ensure continuous compliance with permit conditions and reporting obligations.
• Support site management through regular inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to ensure contractor compliance.
• Promote environmental awareness on-site through training, toolbox talks, and various awareness initiatives.
• Monitor environmental performance via data collection and KPI analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise on environmental legislation, sustainability strategies, and incident investigations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in environmental activities within a construction or commissioning site environment.
• Nebosh certificate.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English.
• Strong knowledge of local Swedish HSE regulations and compliance standards.
