Site Engineer – Vertical Transport

Responsibilities

• Supervise the site execution of vertical transport systems according to project drawings and manufacturer specifications
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other disciplines including civil, MEP, and architectural teams
• Monitor installation progress, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and client representatives regarding technical issues and progress updates
• Review method statements and risk assessments to ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of VT systems to ensure timely handover to the client
• Prepare daily site reports, monitor material deliveries, and track work schedules
• Resolve technical site issues in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in vertical transport system installation, preferably in high-rise or large-scale projects
• Solid understanding of lift and escalator design, installation standards, and coordination
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with major lift brands such as Otis, KONE, Schindler, Mitsubishi, or Thyssenkrupp
