About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Facilities, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams to drive productivity and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Operations to provide process engineering support and ensure the development of high-quality products.
  • Manage and execute capital projects exceeding $5M USD, ensuring stewardship from inception through validation.
  • Develop short-term and long-term strategies for maintenance, facilities, and building improvement plans.
  • Mentor and develop personnel through coaching, training, and collaboration.
  • Utilize Performance Excellence methods (Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM) to establish goals, KPIs, and project cadences.
  • Oversee equipment and contractor personnel on-site to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of maintenance and/or facilities experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of CMMS and enterprise management systems.
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in capital planning and project management.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
