About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the Facilities, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams to drive productivity and manufacturing process improvements.
- Collaborate with Operations to provide process engineering support and ensure the development of high-quality products.
- Manage and execute capital projects exceeding $5M USD, ensuring stewardship from inception through validation.
- Develop short-term and long-term strategies for maintenance, facilities, and building improvement plans.
- Mentor and develop personnel through coaching, training, and collaboration.
- Utilize Performance Excellence methods (Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM) to establish goals, KPIs, and project cadences.
- Oversee equipment and contractor personnel on-site to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- 5+ years of process engineering experience.
- 3+ years of maintenance and/or facilities experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of CMMS and enterprise management systems.
- Strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
- Demonstrated experience in capital planning and project management.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
