Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carrying out setting out, surveying, and verification of works to ensure alignment with design drawings and specifications
• Coordinating and planning site activities in line with project programmes
• Resolving technical issues promptly
• Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built data, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material approvals
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
• Promoting and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Previous experience in a site-based engineering role within a relevant industry
• Proficiency in using setting out and surveying equipment (e.g. total station, GPS)
• Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes
• CSCS Card
• Full UK driving licence
