Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Set out detailed works as per contract drawings and perform regular checks
• Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded according to client specifications
• Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems
• Conduct pre-start site surveys and site calibration checks
• Ensure timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects
• Operate and promote high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance

Requirements

• Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
• Experience with Heavy Civils, Cofferdams, Backfill, or Clean Water pipework installation
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with clients
• Possession of SSSTS, CSCS, and Blue EUSR (water hygiene) cards is highly desirable
