Responsibilities

• Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy
• Ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with Client specification
• Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems
• Conducting pre-start site surveys
• Ensuring timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects
• Operating and promoting high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
• Performing site calibration checks
• Assisting in resolving unexpected technical difficulties

Requirements

• Shaft or Micro tunnelling experience
• Strong surveying capabilities
• Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety and legal regulations
• Valid CSCS card
• Flexibility to travel nationwide
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proven troubleshooting skills
