Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Set out detailed works as per contract drawings and perform regular checks
• Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded per client specification
• Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems
• Conduct pre-start site surveys
• Ensure timely handover of works and quality records without defects
• Operate and promote high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
• Perform site calibration checks
• Assist in resolving unexpected technical difficulties

Requirements

• Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
• Experience with Cofferdams, Backfill, or Clean Water pipework installation
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
• Excellent communication and liaison skills
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• SSSTS
• CSCS
• Blue EUSR card (water hygiene card)
