Site Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of HV/LV electrical packages, including substations, overhead lines, transformers, and switch rooms.
• Coordinate the installation of HV/LV equipment, switchgear, protection systems, and associated cabling.
• Monitor construction progress and maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and quality documentation (ITPs).
• Coordinate the procurement of long-lead electrical equipment to align with construction sequencing.
• Assist in the management of subcontractors and support the assessment of variations and delay impacts.
• Drive coordination between civil, structural, and electrical teams for substation builds and underground services.
• Ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements for HV infrastructure.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Site Engineer or Graduate/Junior Engineer.
• Exposure to civil or infrastructure construction (renewables experience is highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of site-based delivery and construction sequencing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety.
