Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Assist with project programming, sequencing, and short-term planning
• Manage subcontractor coordination, including progress tracking and quality assurance
• Prepare and review RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
• Support procurement activities and monitor materials and site logistics
• Assist with cost tracking, progress reporting, and project documentation
• Work closely with the wider project team to identify and resolve site issues proactively

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline
• 1–3 years of experience within commercial construction (builder or contractor environment preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site processes
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capability
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
