Site EHS Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and control the site EHS management system, covering safety, machine conformity, ergonomics, environmental protection, and occupational health.
• Act as Management Representative for the Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949.
• Own EHS processes within the Integrated Management System (IMS), including KPI management, procedure updates, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators such as accident rates, risk assessments, energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and waste generation.
• Lead internal audits for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, ensuring timely closure of non-conformities.
• Manage emergency preparedness, hazardous substance compliance (MSDS), and PPE requirements.
• Promote a strong EHS culture through safety observations, training, and prevention initiatives.
• Manage the EHS budget and CAPEX, and oversee contractor compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Industrial, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing EHS departments within an industrial or manufacturing environment (automotive experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
• Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), audits, and risk assessment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
