About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all digital and automation capabilities at the North Creek site
- Serve as a full member of the Site Leadership Team and primary advisor to site stakeholders
- Develop and own the site’s 3–5 year digital and automation strategy, including investment prioritization and portfolio governance
- Lead and mentor a team of digital and automation professionals, including contract resources
- Oversee the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of critical digital, automation, and infrastructure systems
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement using Lean and digital tools
- Manage cybersecurity activities and ensure compliance with digital and automation infrastructure standards
- Ensure Quality and Safety compliance, including adherence to GMP regulatory requirements and system validation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems/infrastructure or process automation/control systems
- 3–5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical preferred)
- Experience with Lean or Operational Excellence methodologies
- Proven project or program management experience (Agile, SDLC, or PMI)
- Knowledge of GMP regulatory requirements and system validation processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL and IT infrastructure management
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and data integration patterns
