Site Digital & Automation Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all digital and automation capabilities at the Sanford site
• Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team to align site and network strategies with digital capabilities
• Lead and develop a team of digital and automation professionals, including mentoring and performance management
• Own and execute the site’s integrated digital and automation portfolio, including capital and expense initiatives
• Drive operational efficiency through the implementation of Lean and Continuous Improvement elements
• Oversee the lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and technical support for all digital and automation infrastructure
• Manage data strategy, system integration, and compliance with GMP regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or process automation/control systems
• 3–5 years of experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical)
• Proven experience with Lean or Operational Excellence methodologies
• Expertise in project and program management using Agile, SDLC, or PMI frameworks
• Strong understanding of GMP regulatory requirements and system validation processes
