Site Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee students enrolled in the Rhodes State Respiratory Care Program at Ohio Health.
• Provide instruction in both laboratory and clinical settings, following approved course outlines and CoARC standards.
• Prepare, set up, and deliver engaging laboratory instruction at the satellite location.
• Support student learning through academic guidance, assignment administration, and timely feedback on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance and student progress, using the College’s learning management system (Canvas).
• Serve as a professional role model and initial advisor for satellite students regarding academic performance and conduct.
• Collaborate with the Program Director and Base Program faculty to ensure educational quality and curriculum consistency.
• Participate in faculty meetings, recruitment efforts, and advisory committee meetings.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Current Ohio License to practice Respiratory Care.
• Two or more years of experience in the practice of Respiratory Care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with students and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or a related field.
• Prior teaching or instructional experience.
• Current employee of Ohio Health.
• Understanding of the Community College mission.
