Site Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a consultative play-based program at multiple public elementary schools
• Coordinate with school administration and educators for programmatic delivery
• Deliver onsite coaching, consultation, and modeling to school personnel regarding recess and student leadership
• Lead monthly meetings with school personnel to discuss program quality and best practices
• Maintain administrative records including schedules, meeting agendas, and data
• Showcase Playworks services to prospective schools to support recruitment strategies

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working directly with children
• Experience facilitating training for adults
• Extensive knowledge of youth development principles
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and virtual meeting platforms
• Ability to travel to various regional locations in Newark, NJ
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interacting with diverse communities and integrating into school environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
