Site Automation Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver maximum availability and performance of automation and MES solutions using proactive and predictive maintenance.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and full lifecycle management of automation and MES projects.
• Drive digital transformation and paperless manufacturing initiatives through advanced technical expertise.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Automation and MES team, providing mentoring and performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to align automation strategy with business needs.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, data integrity, security, and EHS&E regulations.

Requirements

• Degree (Level 8) in Automation, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of technical experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically focused on automation and MES systems.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in project and people management.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment; experience with solid dosage or sterile manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
