About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing simulation rooms, labs, and equipment prior to scheduled sessions
- Support faculty during simulation activities by managing timing, room flow, and learner transitions
- Assist with moulage, props, standardized patient setup, and scenario staging
- Operate basic simulation technology, including audio/visual systems and manikin functions
- Troubleshoot common technology issues and notify staff when escalation is needed
- Clean, reset, and restock simulation rooms and supplies after sessions
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student performance and simulation activities
Requirements
- Current student in a health sciences graduate program or related program (preferred)
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with high attention to detail
- Comfort working with technology and a willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in fast-paced environments
