Simulation Technology Teaching Graduate Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing simulation rooms, labs, and equipment prior to scheduled sessions
• Support faculty during simulation activities by managing timing, room flow, and learner transitions
• Assist with moulage, props, standardized patient setup, and scenario staging
• Operate basic simulation technology, including audio/visual systems and manikin functions
• Troubleshoot common technology issues and notify staff when escalation is needed
• Clean, reset, and restock simulation rooms and supplies after sessions
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student performance and simulation activities

Requirements

• Current student in a health sciences graduate program or related program (preferred)
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with high attention to detail
• Comfort working with technology and a willingness to learn new systems
• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in fast-paced environments
