Simulation Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, development, testing and execution of code for back-end integration of intelligence-centric synthetic environment capabilities
• Support design, development, testing, and configuration for the Information Operations Network (ION)
• Support design, development, testing, and configuration for the Exercise Architect Suite (EASe)
• Support design, development, testing, and configuration for the Command: Professional Edition (C:PE)
• Provide technical advice regarding the integration of ION, EASe, and C:PE in Canadian training environments

Requirements

• Computer technology diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• At least three years of experience in a technical project or two years within Canadian Forces engineering establishments
• Knowledge of current Canadian Army simulation and integration toolsets
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Java, and LINUX
• Understanding of AGILE processes and system management workflows
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance
• Ability to work onsite in Kingston 5 days a week
