About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow high-performing software teams focused on simulation software test frameworks and deployment
  • Guide teams in the development, integration, and maintenance of complex software components in mission-critical environments
  • Serve as a technical advisor and spokesperson to program customers and stakeholders
  • Promote efficient Agile development using robust tooling and metrics
  • Develop project plans, manage budgets, and estimate timelines and resources
  • Define and launch specific projects that align with the product vision for the Boeing Emulation, Simulation, Test, and Analysis Framework
  • Provide mentoring to team members and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Manage risks, issues, and opportunities while collaborating with leadership on strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • US Citizenship and eligibility for a US Secret Security Clearance
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
  • 3+ years of experience in simulation-related software development
  • 3+ years of experience in full-lifecycle software development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and GitLab
  • 1+ years of experience with budget oversight and financial data management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing multiple software teams
  • Experience with hardware and software integration for mission-critical or safety-critical systems
  • Experience with Product-Line Engineering and safety-critical development processes
  • Experience with SPEEA union operations and contracts
