Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-fidelity real-time simulation systems and architectures
• Build aircraft and system simulation logic alongside physics-driven behaviors
• Create and manage terrain, environment workflows, and immersive VR/XR experiences
• Implement event-driven systems and real-time state management
• Develop and optimize real-time data communication pipelines
• Work with vector math, 3D transformations, and coordinate systems
• Debug, maintain, and optimize large-scale modular simulation systems
• Collaborate with systems, networking, and integration teams to ensure scalability

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++
• Experience working with Unreal Engine
• Solid understanding of OOP and system design principles
• Knowledge of vector math and 3D transformations
• Understanding of real-time systems and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with Git version control workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in VR/XR development
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP, UDP, or WebSockets
• Knowledge of simulation frameworks or middleware systems
• Experience with terrain systems and environment creation
• Familiarity with optimization and profiling tools
• Understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous systems
• Basic understanding of avionics or aircraft systems
