Responsibilities

• Develop and validate multi-domain physics models, analyzing fluid flow, thermal performance, structural integrity, and dynamic behavior
• Collaborate closely with design and test engineering teams to iterate on designs based on simulation results
• Process, analyze, and present simulation data to provide actionable insights for engineering decisions
• Develop and refine simulation methodologies to improve predictive accuracy and computational efficiency
• Assist in correlating simulation results with experimental test data to ensure model fidelity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in a simulation-focused engineering role
• Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Proficiency in scripting for simulation automation and data analysis using Python or MATLAB
• Experience with 0-d and 1-d analysis methods in multiple domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-domain physics simulation packages such as Simulink or Modelica
• Experience modeling rotating machinery, multiphase flows, or compressible fluids
• Experience with conjugate heat transfer simulations
• Hands-on experience with CAD software such as NX or SolidWorks
