About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, configuration, and troubleshooting for learning technologies, media resources, and healthcare simulation systems.
- Program and run technology to model physiological responses for simulators and assist in setting up virtual healthcare environments.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance, scheduling, and training for classroom technology and human replica simulation systems.
- Install and document new or existing technology systems for a diverse university customer base.
- Create, track, and resolve technical support tickets using ServiceNow.
- Coordinate technology repairs and upgrades with vendors and internal partners.
- Train faculty and staff on the use of AV and simulation systems.
- Generate technical documentation and resolutions for a central knowledge base.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- One (1) year of experience in the implementation, support, and maintenance of media resources, AV technology, and digital media equipment.
- One (1) year of experience in the implementation, support, and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems in a helpdesk environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A+ or equivalent technical certification.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar online ticketing platforms.
- Strong written communication skills for creating technical documentation and operating procedures.
- Technical knowledge of EMS SimulationIQ, Laerdal, or similar simulation software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and floor plans.
