Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform crash and static analysis of seat components and complete seat systems.
• Build FEA assemblies using ANSA as a pre-processor in LS-Dyna deck profiles for mechanism and full system level analysis.
• Execute sub-tasks including meshing, weld and bolt connections, material updates, sets and contact updates, and penetration removal.
• Manage loadcase setup, zero ms check runs, and loadcase calculations for static and dynamic strength.
• Post-process simulation results and prepare detailed technical reports for senior colleagues and global counterparts.
• Document lessons learned and participate in regular knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
• Approximately 8 years of total FEA experience.
• At least 5 years of specific experience in automotive complete seat calculations.
• Expert proficiency in shell meshing of sheet-metal (BIW) and plastic parts using ANSA or Hypermesh.
• Expertise in LS-Dyna deck preparation and debugging for complete seat load cases.
• Strong understanding of engineering basics, including Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, and Machine Design.
• Excellent analytical, task planning, and time management skills.
