Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop new applications for automotive customers to improve simulations
• Collaborate with automotive customers to provide technical support and collect data for feature development
• Create thorough documentation for new and existing software applications
• Test and provide feedback for new software versions
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and conduct customer training remotely and onsite

Requirements

• MS in Mechanical Engineering or BS with relevant industry experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
• Experience using simulation software such as CarSim, Simulink, CarMaker, or Adams
• Experience evaluating vehicle dynamics behavior at the system level
• Experience evaluating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at the system level
• Familiarity using AI tooling to accelerate development

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CarSim, BikeSim, TruckSim, or SuspensionSim
• Experience creating projects using MATLAB/Simulink
• Ability to program for automation and integration of software tools
• Experience with real-time simulation systems like DSPACE, Concurrent, NI, or VI-Grade
• Experience with Unreal Engine
