Signaling Installation Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise site installation work for TCL1 revamping signaling system
• Implement safety checks before, during, and after non-revenue hours (NTH) to ensure no impact on revenue service
• Install equipment according to Method Statements, installation procedures, and drawings
• Prepare post-installation checks and self-installation inspections
• Coordinate with OCC and station masters for brownfield access
• Supervise workers and subcontractors accessing revenue stations, technical rooms, and tracks
• Plan weekly site work and report field progress, issues, and non-conformities
• Manage material requests for tools and equipment
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and quality standards
• Support the handover process to the T&C team and customers

Requirements

• Engineering diploma in Electronic or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of installation experience in metro signaling, communication, power, or PSD systems
• Knowledge of cable termination, testing, fiber optic splicing, and testing
• Awareness of railway EHS standards
• Strong leadership skills to manage multiple workers and suppliers
• Proficiency in Chinese (speaking and reading) is required
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities for field deviations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with point machine installation
• Experience with signaling equipment and cable laying
• Experience with metro revamping procedures
• Knowledge of metro company check-in/check-out procedures (e.g., TRTC, NTMC)
• Ability to speak Taiwanese Hokkien
