Signal Integrity Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Work in a laboratory environment to validate designs and correlate measurements
• Take measurements and run experiments using VNA, TDR, and other high-speed test equipment
• Create and execute detailed test plans
• Follow industry best practices and methods for high-speed electrical measurement
• Manage the test queue based on priorities set by engineering management
• Generate reports and provide analysis for high-speed test data
• Maintain and improve required administrative systems and software tools

Requirements

• Experience working in an electrical test environment
• Systematic approach to defining and solving technical problems
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with engineers and management
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (at least 90 consecutive minutes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Signal Integrity (SI) specific experience
• Associate degree in engineering, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Familiarity with high-volume cable manufacturing methods and processes
