Signal and Power Integrity (SI/PI) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead signal integrity simulation/validation methodology and develop detailed engineering test plans
• Create scripts for workflows and tools
• Perform high-speed interface signal integrity simulations and measurements
• Conduct PDN simulations and measurements
• Validate high-speed interfaces in lab to correlate with specifications and simulation results
• Use simulation and lab data to support design troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause efforts
• Support multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in signal integrity simulation and measurement
• Experience in signal and power integrity fundamentals
• Familiarity with PCB and flex design and manufacture processes
• Understanding of impedance control and transmission lines
• Hands-on experience with high speed lab equipment and PHY compliance test fixtures
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in signal and power integrity validation
• Familiarity with consumer hardware design, review, and bring up processes
• Familiarity with high speed interface protocols for PSRAMs, Flash, and MIPI
• Experience with Ansys HFSS, Q3D, Cadence Sigrity, PowerSI, Ansys SIwave, or Keysight ADS
