About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop methodologies for signal and power integrity simulation and validation
  • Conduct high-speed interface signal integrity simulations and measurements
  • Execute Power Distribution Network (PDN) simulations and measurements
  • Validate high-speed interfaces in laboratory settings
  • Analyze simulation and lab data to identify design issues and propose corrective actions
  • Conduct failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and design experiments
  • Develop scripts to enhance workflows and automate tools for SIPI processes
  • Support multiple projects concurrently

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in signal integrity simulation and measurement
  • Proficient in signal and power integrity principles
  • Knowledge of PCB and flex design and manufacturing processes
  • Expertise in impedance control and transmission line concepts
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed lab equipment and PHY compliance test setups
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and constraint management
  • Familiarity with high-speed interface protocols (e.g., PSRAMs, Flash, MIPI)
  • Proficiency in Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, PowerSI, Ansys SIwave, and Keysight ADS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in signal and power integrity validation
  • Experience in consumer hardware design, including design reviews and bring-up processes
