SIG Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design for equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Prepare work method statements and BIM models for interface drawings
• Liaise with offshore engineering teams for technical clarifications and discussions
• Participate in CIP meetings with civil contractors, track-work, and E&M systems
• Raise and review CSDSEM drawings and participate in inspections to verify civil output
• Provide alternative solutions for conflicting requirements between civil and other parties
• Monitor civil progress and submit daily installation reports
• Perform site installation tests, including cable, fiber, and mechanical checks
• Support the Installation Manager in planning tasks and monitoring work execution

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (essential)
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) (mandatory)
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Strong operational and personal safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit (BIM)
• Minimum 2 years of railway construction experience
• Experience with CSDSEM processes and site interfacing
• Knowledge of signaling systems or railway equipment
• Experience in 2D or 3D mechanical design
