SiC Customer Engineer (CE)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface and support for customer product development, including Design Guides (PIK, POR, Simulation Guide)
• Manage product development schedules from database output to first sample delivery and handle technical interface issues
• Manage Turnaround Time (TAT) for development and mass-production products to ensure yield and quality
• Oversee On-Time Delivery (OTD) for customer-related issues
• Support technical sales and product promotion activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering field
• 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• Deep understanding of Wide Bandgap (WBG) semiconductor physical properties (SiC MOSFET, GaN, IGBT) and high-voltage operation (650V~3300V)
• Knowledge of SiC wafer and Epi processes, semiconductor process integration, and SiC-specific processes
• Proficiency in EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys) and TCAD Simulation
• Understanding of WBG semiconductor Failure Analysis and mechanisms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in WBG process development (SiC, GaN)
• Experience developing products for the automotive or energy industries (e.g., EV inverters, AI data centers)
• Experience providing technical support to global customers
• Proficiency in English or Chinese
