Shut Down Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of facilities shutdown and configuration change activities.
• Develop, review, and update configuration and procedural documentation for critical infrastructure.
• Provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from concept to detailed design.
• Coordinate impact assessments and communicate technical impacts to relevant stakeholders.
• Implement change management practices and ensure compliance with site environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Support the integration and communication of technical information regarding facility equipment and reliability.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Electrical or HVAC Trades (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Eligibility for security clearance (TSPV Australian or TS/SCI U.S.).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to lift up to 10 kg independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management qualifications or post-graduate degrees.
• Experience with power generation, distribution, and data center power systems.
• Knowledge of building management and control systems (BMS).
• Experience in configuration management and facilities operation/maintenance.
• Relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or an Australian White Card.
