Responsibilities

• Observe and adhere to company rules, site procedures, and Health & Safety/Hygiene standards
• Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or damage
• Perform trailer checks on loaded trailers and report to operations
• Execute shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks
• Liaise with warehouse control and goods in staff for efficient loading/unloading
• Complete vehicle downloads and monitor services/MOTs
• Assist with fuel delivery and manual fuel dipping
• Maintain a clean and tidy yard and manage traffic flow

Requirements

• Full C+E license
• CPC qualification
• Tacho Card
• Previous experience shunting with a Terberg
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong communication and attention to detail
