Shunt Driver

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractors and trailers onsite safely, adhering to all company rules and regulations
• Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move materials
• Ensure trailers are accurately and securely positioned in the yard and at the docks
• Load and unload ROCKWOOL products and materials from pallets and trucks
• Implement Lock Out Procedures to ensure equipment is properly secured
• Maintain accountability for the quality and quantity of products placed in the warehouse or loaded onto trailers
• Handle trailers and finished products with care to avoid damage

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Clean record in the National Driver Register with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills for managing paperwork and logs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
