Shredder Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain shredding equipment, including conveyor systems, screens, magnets, and other components
• Remove unwanted materials, such as non-metallic objects, dirt, and other contaminants
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and other safety practices
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shredder area through proper waste disposal and housekeeping

Requirements

• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterity
• Attention to detail to effectively spot and remove contaminants
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or maintenance role
