Showroom Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as a key-holder, owning opening, closing, and security protocols for the showroom
• Lead by example on the floor, delivering exceptional service to guests
• Coach and support showroom and pop-up staff on product features and safety guidelines
• Support showroom operations including pop-ups, events, inventory receiving, and visual merchandising
• Set clear expectations and drive accountability around guest satisfaction
• Act as a liaison between the Showroom Manager and the team
• Provide regular feedback to Showroom Leadership to help shape strategies
• Meet and exceed performance goals regarding guest satisfaction and product knowledge
• Support the Babylist content and social media team when applicable

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of retail or guest service floor leadership experience
• Demonstrated leadership or key-holder responsibility
• Ability to make decisions on the fly in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with teammates and guests
• Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (weekend availability is required)
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 30 lbs and stay on your feet for 8 to 10 hour shifts
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and retail operations is a plus
