Showroom Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work with builders, designers, and homeowners to sell products including lighting, appliances, high-end fixtures, and cabinetry
• Greet showroom guests and develop lasting customer relationships by understanding their project motivations
• Manage the end-to-end consultative sales process, including providing accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
• Prepare detailed job quotations and submittals
• Utilize suggestive sales techniques to assist both appointment-based and walk-in customers
• Continually improve product knowledge and sales skills to maintain a professional image

Requirements

• Ability to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions tailored to customer needs and budgets
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Basic understanding of design and interior decorating principles
• Ability to work with a diverse array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in plumbing fixtures, lighting, or cabinetry
