About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the flagship Haier Showroom in Auckland, ensuring a premium visitor experience.
- Act as the primary brand ambassador for trade, builder, designer, developer, and retail audiences.
- Deliver expert hosting, product demonstrations, and technical product knowledge across the Haier portfolio.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, including New Product Introduction changeovers and seasonal updates.
- Coordinate showroom visits and events in collaboration with Retail Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
- Manage visitor records, track performance metrics, and report insights to leadership.
- Monitor competitor and market trends to ensure the showroom remains competitive and relevant.
Requirements
- Proven experience in showroom, retail, or hospitality management.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and hosting B2B audiences such as builders and designers.
- Strong product demonstration skills with the ability to translate technical features into compelling narratives.
- Highly organized and detail-focused with the ability to manage operations and event coordination.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings for events and client visits.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of the home appliance category or related consumer goods markets.
- Experience supporting sales teams with technical proposals and specifications.
