About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the flagship Haier Showroom in Auckland, ensuring a premium visitor experience.
  • Act as the primary brand ambassador for trade, builder, designer, developer, and retail audiences.
  • Deliver expert hosting, product demonstrations, and technical product knowledge across the Haier portfolio.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, including New Product Introduction changeovers and seasonal updates.
  • Coordinate showroom visits and events in collaboration with Retail Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
  • Manage visitor records, track performance metrics, and report insights to leadership.
  • Monitor competitor and market trends to ensure the showroom remains competitive and relevant.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in showroom, retail, or hospitality management.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and hosting B2B audiences such as builders and designers.
  • Strong product demonstration skills with the ability to translate technical features into compelling narratives.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused with the ability to manage operations and event coordination.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings for events and client visits.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of the home appliance category or related consumer goods markets.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with technical proposals and specifications.
