Showroom Consultant

Responsibilities

• Assist showroom customers in evaluating needs, guiding product choices, and closing sales
• Develop and build strong relationships with designers, builders, and architects
• Provide customers with fast, reliable proposals and accurate delivery dates
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets
• Enter orders and proposals into the system and maintain proactive communication with clients
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, including payments and returns
• Maintain up-to-date product documentation and showroom display materials
• Generate showroom sales through promotional activities
• Comply with all safety regulations within the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
• Minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to acquire deep product knowledge and suggest appropriate solutions
• Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and teammates
• Project management skills and basic mathematics proficiency
• Ability to learn and use order processing software

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom products
• Experience with Trend and Eclipse software
