Responsibilities

• Generate a constant stream of video concepts across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Write clear, punchy creative briefs for producers and editors
• Collaborate with platform leads to align on creative direction and priorities
• Work with producers to build videos from brief to shoot-ready, including shot lists and logistics
• Serve as assistant director on shortform shoots to ensure content matches the brief
• Scout and evaluate shoot locations to elevate content
• Study performance data to translate analytics into sharper creative decisions

Requirements

• Real on-set production experience
• Experience working with creators or in creator-led production environments
• Fluency across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to write tight, platform-specific creative briefs
• Track record of high-performing shortform content
• Ability to work cross-functionally with producers and creative directors
• Ability to work under compressed timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assistant directing on shortform or branded content shoots
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, or CapCut
